National Television Contest "Televershina"
The Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, the National State TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus, privately-held joint-stock companies "the Second National TV Channel" and "Stolichnoye Televideniye" (Capital City TV) annually hold the Televershina National Television Contest.
Any domestic TV programme of any duration produced by national and regional broadcasting organizations or other Belarusian companies of different forms of ownership is allowed to participate in the contest.
The contestants compete in 25 categories.
A programme to take part in the Contest can only be put forward by broadcasters or producers (television networks, studios, production centres, associations). The entries should be in Russian or Belarusian languages, or translated into them (VoiceOver, subtitling or dubbing).
The panel of judges composed of well-known directors, script writers, actors and journalists will determine three finalists in each of the categories.
